well, but this wasn't the only question i wanted to ask, i've got some more, cauz there are lots of things i need to know:

1) How useful is german flecktarn (camouflage) in Philippine battlegrounds?

2) Where can I buy philippine camouflaged clothing (House of Lord Anthony and the weapon store on the same floor in Gaisano Mall of Davao didn't know anything)?

3) How legal/illegal is it to buy/own/use an AEG in the philippines?

Sir Ams,

Allow me to answer some of your queries concerning the flecktarn camo. I was able to use one during my initiation into the sports. The camo blends well if the background is a forested area with new growth trees and patches of grass. However, the camo won't blend well in grasslands. Tiger stripes can blend better in the Philippine tropical setting.

I'm not sure if you can buy one from the House of Lord Anthony. I suggest that you send a personal message to the Admin and moderators of this forum. They can assist you.

It is legal to own an AEG here but it would be wise to be discrete about these things. These are considered as hobby toys here. The reason why toy guns like these must not be shown in public places is because these toys look too real and may cause panic. Moreover, these toys are dangerous, can cause injury and can be used in petty crimes. Like any tool, we must be responsible enough in handling these expensive toys.

My current bdu is German flecktarn, which was bought at flecktarn.co.uk. The said bdu has already been tested in the jungle setting in Davao..it adapts well when the user hides or be with brown tree trunks and browny leaves and dead branches.
Actually, I'm here in Oxford, UK. I'm going home(Davao)with my family for a month of vacation.
There's a big risk of confiscation in the airport. Hence, if I were you, better buy one in Manila and have it ship to Davao or borrow one when in Davao. I will look for a gun for you to borrow if we meet next August 2006.
Pardon for my curiousity, are you a Filipino or a German or mix??

Ikaw jud Jo. Haha! Uli ka karong Aug.'06 para kita ta..
Kadtung last Aug'05 wa ka nagsaba na naa ka pa diay sa Davao..pangitaan unta tikag AEG pud. AKong utol from Manila ni-uli last Aug.'05 sya noon ang nakadula with the SWAT for one sunday sa COACO warehouse.
